Hawkwoods VL-P300

The Hawk-woods VL-P300 is attached to the rear of a PMW-300 Camcorder to allow the user to power the camera using V-Lock batteries. This not only gives the operator increased battery time but helps to balance the camera when using the shoulder mount. The VL-P300 is attached to the camera by inserting the unit into the existing battery slot on the camera and inserting the jack fly lead in to the DC input on the camera.

The VL-P300 has the added benefit of Power-Con (D-Tap) output which can be used to provide power for additional items such as top lights or on-board radio mic receivers.
