Sony PMW-300 Camcorder

The PMW-300 is an HD hand held camera from the Sony XDCAM EX range. The PMW-300 is a direct replacement for the PMW-EX3 and superseeds the PMW-200 too. This means that you get the versatility of being able to add an ENG lens such as an HJ14, or HJ22 using an ACM-21 adaptor like on the EX3, but you don't need to have an external recorder hanging off the side of the camera. If however you don't fancy adding extra lenses to the front, the HotCam package comes with the standard Fujinon lens. Using Sony's SxS memory cards, you can record at the UK broadcast standard of 50mb/s internally. The PMW-300 can be used as part of the Hotcam MBS.
